Employees of the Qalqeleya Municipality donated one-day wages for the benefit of the Gaza Relief National Campaign.

Deputy mayor, Dr. Hashim Almasri said that in addition to the employees' donations, members of the city council donated half their wages for the month of January. Dr. Almasri said that the Governorate opened three centers for citizens to donate. Employees of the Municipality helped post the signs, organize the donation drives, and sent information leaflest along with the untility bills.

The Gaza Relief National Campaign began collecting assistance from the West Bank to help the people of Gaza who have been under constant Israeli bombardment for the past twenty-two days.
