Tens of international peace activists were injured on Tuesday evening after the Egyptian security authorities used force against the passengers of "Life-line 3", who are still waiting the permission to enter the Gaza Strip at the Egyptian seaport of El Arish.

Arab satellite channels broadcasted images of the scene, where the Egyptian forces were seen while using the excessive force against international solidarity and other supporters as many of them were seriously injured with blood covering their faces , and some others were thrown on the ground .
Zahir Albirawi ,media Spokesman of convoy “Lifeline” said that the Egyptian security elements used excessive force against international solidarity activists, noting that the number of casualties amounted to more than 25 wounded, some serious wounds, while more than 10 cars loaded with aid were severely damaged.
Albirawi added, in a press statement, that "The Egyptian authorities are committing a massacre against the international solidarity activists," asserting that the Egyptian security forces stormed the seaport of El Arish and began to strike those people with sticks and stones ", which was like the rain." according to his description.
He pointed out that the Egyptian authorities brought some cars full of large quantities of stones for throwing at the solidarity activists, adding that : "This is an unprecedented massacre in history that never seen before."
Albirawi appealed to all the "free world" supporters to stand up as one man to prevent what is happening against the lif-line convoy on the Egyptian side, while calling on the Egyptian authorities to "stop this madness."
As for the reasons of the clashes between the Egyptian authorities and members of Life-line convoy, Albirawi said that the Egyptian authorities asked the organizers of the convoy, to give up one third of cars loaded with aid, numbering about 59 cars.
He pointed out that the organizers of the convoy held a meeting yesterday with the negotiator from the Egyptian side, but the negotiator left the meeting suddenly without prior notice, and walked out without the presenting any information, pointing out that among the presence of the two sides were 10 Turkish deputies , in addition to the convoy commander "George Galloway. "
He pointed out that solidarity activists felt that there was "a plot", especially after they saw the Egyptian police surrounding the seaport from all sides with more than 1000 of security elements, and then quickly clashes broke out on the spot, turning the seaport to a "battleground."
