The International Campaign to Break the Siege of Gaza, and of Advocacy with Palestine announced the launching of a new campaign titled ( A Story of Persistence) due to start next Thursday 29th July till Sunday 1st of August, 2010.
The media campaign will include live TV through a number of satellite channels that will host a number of prominent political ,legal,and parliamentarian figures.
The campaign aims at fund-raising to the benefit of the besieged Gaza Strip, and to unveil the suffering of the Palestinian people under the oppressive blockade, as well as to raise the awreness of TV viewers on how to advocate and support the Palestinian people, in addition of supporting the committees concerned in breaking the siege and to coordinate with them.
The campaign also aims at introducing the International Campaign to Break the Siege of Gaza, and of Advocacy with Palestine and to explain its achievements, in a step that targets developing the committee to become a coalition.
It also seeks to raise the public awareness about the suffering of the besieged Gaza citizens and mobilize the Arab and international support for lifting Gaza siege.
The media campaign will start through famous TV channels like : Al-Resala , Al-Quds, Al-Hiwar, Hayatuna, Al-Shrooq, and Suhail, in addition to two broadcasting stations F.M , and Al-Fajr.
Mohammad Hamdan, The media coordinator of the International Campaign to Break the Siege of Gaza, and of Advocacy with Palestine , called the institutions and individuals in the Muslim and European countries to support the campaign and provide assistance to Gaza besieged people.
Hamdan also expressed thanks to the participating TV channels that are slated to start on Thursday at Al-Resala channel, at Al-Quds channel on Friday, and through Al-Hiwar on Saturday.
Moreover another number of world channels are expected to participate in diffusing the campaigns programs.
