The Arab League (AL) is preparing to launch a financial campaign to support the Palestinian people under the oppressive Israeli occupation and its daily aggressive practices.
A source of the AL , said in a statement, that the campaign comes under the motto “ the steadfast defenders are in urgent need of assistance , and supporting them is a national, humanitarian, and religious duty “.
The source added that this campaign comes within the framework of implementing (AL) summit resolutions , under the supervision of AL, noting that the campaign is supported by a number of Fatwas ( religious explanations ) ,issued by senior Muslim scholars , calling to pay the zakat (alms) to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
He explained that the AL has allocated two accounts at Egypt Bank in Egyptian pound, and in dollars , calling Arab banks willing to participate in this national campaign to contact the secretariat of the AL .
