Qaradawi: PLO and PA self-destructed when they cooperated with Israeli occupation

Head of the international union for Muslim scholars Sheikh Yousuf Al-Qaradawi stated that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and the Palestinian authority (PA) have destroyed themselves irreversibly through their security cooperation with the Israeli occupation, stressing the need for resisting this occupation.

Sheikh Yousuf Al-Qaradawi mad his remarks in a symposium held in Doha by the IUMS on the impacts of Judaization activities on the future of the Palestinian cause.

The Sheikh criticized the PLO and the PA for their security cooperation with the Israeli occupation, saying this cooperation is more dangerous than the inter-Palestinian division and thus must be ended immediately.

He highlighted that the Palestinians are not free to do whatever they like with Palestine for it does not belong to them alone or to a group of them, but to all Muslim and Arab nations.

The scholar also stressed that resisting the occupation and mobilizing the Arab and Muslim nations against it is the option of moderate people and should be supported.

The scholar hailed the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, saying that Gaza became a forbidden Palestinian land that cannot be invaded by Israelis thanks to the death-defiance of Gazans and their resistance.
