(QRC) provided support to high education institutions in Gaza

The Qatari Red Crescent(QRC)has provided support to a number of high education institutions in Gaza strip, within its framework to build and support the educational establishment in the coastal enclave.

This came during a signing ceremony of agreements between (QRC) and representatives of universities and colleges of Gaza, that was attended by QRC director in Gaza, engineer Mohammad Abu Haloub, and a number of university presidents and deans of colleges.

Abu Haloub explained that this support came within the program to develop and rehabilitate high education institutions in Gaza, in addition to a project aiming at providing psychosocial support and services to those with special needs, through cooperation from Al-Fakhoura Campaign, in Qatar, with support of Shaikha Mouza and The Islamic Bank for Development.

Abu Haloub expressed his gratitude to Qatar and The Islamic Bank for their efforts exerted to support the Palestinian people,adding that the QRC is harvesting the fruit of its efforts by announcing the implementation projects in high education institutions to the interest of the Palestinian community.

From his part, the dean of Science and Technology Faculty , in Khan Yunis, Mohammad Sayyer expressed thanks to QRC of Gaza for their continued financial and morale support to the Palestinian people.

The said faculty has benefited from implementing of a project by QRC to develop and equip a conference hall and umbrella facility for the students of the faculty.
