For his part, the ADU general secretary expressed thanks for the Prime Minister Haneyyah for good hospitality, expressing his great pleasure for visiting Gaza, noting that all what has been presented by the union is only a part of the duty towards Palestine and its people”.

The ADU delegation has visited the medical complex Al-Shiffa, while Dr. Naim explained the mechanism of receiving and treating the patients , and talked about the main problems encountered by the hospital, most important of which is the power outages and its negative impact on hospital electrical equipment.

Raslaan also pointed that the ADU secretariat is planning to hold its next session for the first time in the holy city of occupied Al-Quds.

He expressed readiness to cooperate with the officials of the health sector saying “ you know better your requirements than we do for developing this sector , and the ADU is ready to provide you with all it can for the health sector”.

Dr. Naim , for his part, reconfirmed the positive role played by the union, and its support for Palestine and Gaza during many crisis and ordeals, pointing to the long record of ADU in supporting the health sector since many years.

He explained that from the most important sections of ADU that supported the healthcare sector in Gaza, were the emergency and training section, that provided Gaza with a number of programs and workshops to build the capacities of the medical staffing.
