500 Gaza pilgrims head to Saudi Arabia for Umrah

Around 500 pilgrims from the Gaza Strip will leave for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday via the Rafah crossing, Hamas' interior ministry said.

The pilgrims are undertaking the Umrah pilgrimage to Mecca, which can be performed at any time during the year.
