Despite the heavy shelling by Israeli warplanes that didn’t stop since last Friday, which killed 18 Palestinians, and injured others, the participants in the aid convoy “Miles of Smiles 10” were determined to enter besieged Gaza to alleviate the suffering and pains of its inhabitants during this difficult situation.

The solidarity activists of the convey insisted to extend their condolences to the relatives of those who were killed or injured, trying to ease their grief ,draw a smile on their faces, and raise their morale.

The convoy of “ Miles of Smiles 10” arrived to Gaza Strip late last night through Rafah crossing , while its organizers have stressed their determination to continue the preparations for other convoys , despite the continued Israeli offensive, and until breaking the siege.

The campaign of “ Miles of Smiles” convoys is considered as one the most successful in breaking the blockade of Gaza for the tenth time during the past four years despite of many obstacles, to bring relief material and missing medicine to Gaza.

Tears of joy mixed with tears of sadness were in the eyes of the peaceful activists, who came to the bereaved city to bed farewell of more than 18 martyrs killed by the Israeli terrorist raids, while expressing their pain and deep sadness for the disastrous situation in the besieged enclave.

They stressed to Amman based Humanitarian Voice that despite the continued shelling on Gaza , day and night, they insisted to come for its relief and to raise the morale of its inhabitants, noting that they are determined to continue preparing for new convoys.

For his part, the general coordinator and head of “Miles of Smiles 10” Dr. Issam Mustafa said that the arrival of the convoy coincided with the criminal Israeli attacks, as a message to the whole world’s community that Gaza is still slaughtered under the oppressive siege, and it needs their support and support.

He underlined that the convoys of Miles of smiles would continue coming to Gaza, and would not stand hands tied toward daily suffering, murders , and genocide of Gaza people.

Dr. Issam Mustafa called on all people of free conscience in Arab and European world to stand by the people of Gaza who are facing all types of torture and killing , while scarifying their children.

Palestinian people’s message :

Ali Al-Nazli, the media spokesperson of the Popular Committee to Break Gaza Siege ,told Humanitarian Voice, that the convoy included a number of prominent women from various Arab and Islamic countries ,“who came to express their solidarity with the Palestinian woman, considering her as a symbol of steadfastness and resistance”.

He pointed that the participants in the convoy would visit the damaged houses due to the last Israeli war and siege, while they are expected also to visit many woman institutions to get acquainted with the suffering of the Palestinian woman under the ongoing Israeli siege for more than five continued years.

Al-Nazli stressed that this convoys comes within a series of precedent convoys that were launched from Arab and international arenas to express their solidarity with Gaza Strip ,and reflect the international world awareness toward the Palestinian cause , and the suffering of the Palestinian people.

It is worth mentioning that 114 solidarity activists , mostly women from Britain, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, came with this convoy to support the Palestinian woman who much sacrificed for the sake of the Palestinian cause.
