For his part, Dr. Mohammad Mussa Chabat , Vice president of the academic affairs expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Arab and Islamic prominent women who came to participate in this convoy and to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian woman.
He pointed that the series of Miles of Smiles convoys reflect the international and Arab solidarity with the Gaza Strip under the ongoing Israeli attacks and oppressive siege.
Dr. Chabat accompanied the visiting delegation and briefed them on the developments achieved by the Islamic University in various scientific, and academic domains without stopping its services despite the severe blockade and continued Israeli offensive.
The humanitarian aid convoy of “ Miles of Smiles 10” arrived to Gaza Strip last Saturday through Rafah crossing, expressing and stressing its will to continue the preparations for new convoys, despite the continued Israeli attacks until breaking the siege completely.
The solidarity campaign of “ Miles of smiles” convoys is considered the most successful in breaking Gaza siege, after succeeding in reaching besieged Gaza for the tenth time during the last four years, despite all the obstacles encountered in its long way.
The campaign succeeded in bringing all kinds of medical assistance of missing medicine, electrical wheelchairs for special needs, and baby milk for newborn children direly needed in Gaza.
