Two million people from various countries to participate in Al-Quds March

The organizing committee of The Global March Toward Al-Quds, expects the participation of more than two million people from the neighboring countries of occupied Palestine, from inside Palestine, and some world capitals,to express their solidarity with the holy city Al-Quds.

Dr. Ribhi Halloum , the executive president and general coordinator of the Global March to Al-Quds, during a press conference at the Professional Association complex yesterday night, said that a number of international prominent figures is expected to participate in this march that will take place in Jordan ,and in other countries except in Syria.

He added, in the press conference in Amman, that the preparatory committee of the national march is keen that the international participation in Jordan, would be of peaceful and symbolic nature.

He explained that Jordan’s Prime Minister Aoun Al-Khasawneh expressed to him his satisfaction for the ongoing preparations as a peaceful and civilized event, and expressed his government support to make this march a success.

Dr. Halloum added that the news about this global event has caused a state of confusion for the Zionist entity, that was clear through various contacts that he received to enquire about the march.

For his part Engineer Abdullah Obaidat, chairman of the Jordanian professional engineers association , and the preparatory committee of the Global March towards Al-Quds, was quoted as saying that Prime Minister Al-Khasawneh has given instructions to the Interior Minister to take all necessary measures to make the event, due to be launched on 30th of this month,a success.

He concluded that this march would be an annual event to highlight the necessity of ending Al-Quds occupation, and Palestine’s liberation, adding that a festival would be organized at Swaimeh area in which a number of the participating delegations would deliver speeches, expected to be attended by about 500 guests from outside Jordan.
