Qatar Charity (QC) has pledged a new package of urgent humanitarian aid worth two million QR for Syrian refugees.
Ibrahim Zainal, Director of QC's follow-up department, said in press statements on Saturday that the non-government organization has pledged the sum after a delegation from the organization checked out conditions of the Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.
He called on charitable people to continue their support for the Syrian refugees due to their increasing urgent humanitarian needs.
A QC relief delegation has visited the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan and offered them diverse aid including food, medical services and accommodation fees.
Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has estimated the numbers of Syrian refugees in the three countries of Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey at 40,000 and expected the number to grow further over the next few months.
