IOF soldiers storm elementary school in Al-Khalil and threatened to close it

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed an elementary school in Yatta village, south of Al-Khalil, on Monday and threatened the headmaster that it would be closed if students continued to throw stones at Israeli vehicles.

The headmaster, Wajih Al-Adra, told the PIC that officers of the security coordination bureau in Al-Khalil accompanied the soldiers and said that one of them introduced himself as commander of the southern area.

He said that the commander threatened him the school would be closed once and for all if one stone was thrown at settlers’ vehicles passing on the nearby bypass road.

Meanwhile, IOF troops stormed a house in Yatta and arrested a young man after blasting their way into his family home.

Locals said that the soldiers fired inside the house of Sabri Abu Aram before taking away his son Samer.

They said that the soldiers searched three nearby homes using police dogs after forcing all inhabitants into the open.
