The campaign of King Abdullah Ben Abdulazizl Saudi, the custodian of the two holy mosques to relief the Palestinian people of Gaza, is preparing for launching a medical convoy consisting of medicines and necessary medical supplies for hospitals, and medical centers of Gaza with a cost of 11 million 250 thousands Saudi riyal.
The Saudi News Agency (WAS) yesterday said that these assistance material come by instructions of the campaign’s supervisor Prince Nayef Ben Abudlaziz, the Crown prince, Prime Minister, and Saudi Minister of Interior.
(WAS) pointed that this convoy aims at fulfilling the dire needs of the Palestinian hospitals for most missing sorts of medicines, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).
Foreign Minister Saudi adviser, Dr. Saed Al-Araby Al-Harthy explained that this support comes within the framework of an integral program to rehabilitate health and medical sectors to the interest of the Palestinian people.
He added that the Saudi Committee to Relief the Palestinian people ,and The campaign of King Abdullah Ben Abdulaziz, the custodian of the two holy mosques to relief the Palestinian people of Gaza, have already extended assistance worth of more than two hundred million Saudi riyal.
He pointed that these assistance were used for establishing medical centers, supporting dialysis centers, and the provision of vaccines for Palestinian children, beside providing ambulances for Gaza and West Bank hospitals, in addition to providing health care for those with special needs, and supporting The Palestinian Red Crescent.
Dr.AlHarthy added that providing this kind of support for the health sector, also comes with the framework of a series of relief and humanitarian programs and projects to support the social, educational, and developmental aspects which would alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians.
