Israeli soldiers attack schoolchildren near Bethlehem

A group of Israeli soldiers on Tuesday attacked schoolchildren in Beit Jala near Bethlehem, witnesses said.

Israeli soldiers stepped out of a military jeep to question children leaving al-Amal school and then verbally and physically assaulted the students, onlookers said.

Soldiers then took two students to the Israeli District Coordination Offices on the outskirts of Beit Jala, witnesses said.
