The delegation of Miles of Smiles convoy participated in Save Palestine Forum

Tens of participants in the aid convoy “Miles of Smiles 13” have attended the “Save Palestine Forum” organized by the foreign ministry in Gaza caretaker government, while some observers considered the arrival of solidarity activists to Gaza with the convoy as a significant part of efforts to remove obstacles in the way of Palestine liberation.

Dr. Mohammad Awad , minister of foreign affairs and planning said that without the arrival of Miles of Smiles convoys , the Palestinian people would not be able to face the Israeli enemy with that pace of great steadfastness, and strong willing.

Awad has confirmed that the liberation convoys headed by “ Miles of Smiles “ are the milestone of liberating Palestine and form a significant part of this issue, noting that men of free conscience dream to see Palestine liberated.

He added that “ Gaza people are experiencing many suffering and difficulties in all aspects of economic and social life due to the Israeli siege imposed on the strip for more than five years” noting that the aim of this forum is to save and liberate Palestine.

Sheikh Hammam Saeed, head of the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood party said that “ the project of liberating Palestine was born since a longtime and is growing up quickly, adding that “ such meetings and convoys coming to Gaza continuously are one of the fruits of liberating Palestine”

Approaching liberation :

“ Weren’t it due to the great sacrifices and steadfastness of Gaza people in facing the Israeli enemy, we wouldn’t be capable to meet . … and liberating Gaza will be a fruit of saving Palestine “, Hammam added.

Sheikh Saeed hailed the development of the Palestinian resistance that was able to conquer the occupier and win despite its modern equipment, missiles, and tanks.

He emphasized that the Palestinian people needs people of free world to stand with them until liberating his lands from the jaws of the ugly occupation.

For his part, Dr. Ghazi Hamad , undersecretary ministry of foreign affairs, confirmed that the Palestinian cause is targeted to a big campaign reflected through the Israeli occupation intensifying settlements in the West Bank and AlQuds (Jerusalem), in addition to imposing a strict and suffocating siege on Gaza since five years.

We need acts :

Hamad expressed hopes that Arab Spring revolutions would make significant change on the Palestinian cause , not through rhetoric and statements , and to translate our position into deeds and acts.

He added “ we want the Arab and Islamic, and even international position to be translated into acts on the ground, in a brave manner, noting that the Arab and Muslim world should not be preoccupied by its internal situation, and leave the Palestinian people alone in the field.

He explained that “ the Palestinian issue will not be progressing with as long as the division is there, and we are supporting the reconciliation efforts based on sticking to the Palestinian constants” noting that the more the Palestinians are unified , the more Arabs and Muslims would be unified”.

The aid convoy “ Miles of smiles 13” has arrived to Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing on Saturday evening headed by Dr. Issam Mustafa, and accompanied by high ranking delegation amid a significant popular reception.

The convoy includes 110 solidarity activists , mostly of Islamic action leadership from 17 Arab countries , carrying ten tons of humanitarian and medical assistance to the benefit of medical centers and hospitals of Gaza.
